ABOUT
Years ago I was a competitor in a wide range of disciplines, lucky to grow up on Avondale Arabian Stud, totally immersed in horses for the first 17 years of my life. It was a life of Pony Club, shows, eventing, gymkhanas, assisting with handling of the young horses, discussing foalings and foals, and countless magazines and learning experiences. What a privilege it was, I learnt so much in those important years. I dabbled in breeding in my early twenties, and bred a stallion who is is now in the lines of several of my females. He only sired two mares, both who have gone on to produce champions, one of those, an international champion. That sire was Avonview Akubra. He brought in bloodlines from Izmir by El Shaklan from Ennerdale Arabians, and the key stallion at Avondale, Akhu.

In 2013 circumstances would arise whereby my parents were unable to continue looking after their wonderful Avondale horses. It became my task with the assistance of some wonderful friends of Mum's to manage and downsize the stud. In doing so, the enjoyment I derived from working with horses again, resulted in making the decision to retain some horses and continue on some Avondale lines. Knowing what a huge contribution my parents, particularly my mother, Pam Morris, had made to the Arabian breed, and that I would not be able to sustain that I decided to use my own stud name from those early years. My aim firstly is enjoyment, and in doing so aim to breed a small number of quality Arabians and Arabian bred horses.

Most of my photos are taken by myself as photography is a hobby. Many pictures of my horses are taken in their natural environment, often eating. Most of my photos are taken when I am on my own.
Some notable horses include:
Avondale Bel Spirit
Key Broodmare
Avonview has been blessed with two fillies from Avondale Bel Spirit, Avonview Gazaliah by Impreza and Avonview Angelica by Avondale Cruise. Interestingly 'Espirit' began her breeding career at the age of 15. She is currently expecting a 2019 foal by Avondale Cruise.

Another delightful filly, Divinity is destined for performance. She is by the well known Future Farms stallion Fever FF.
Her dam, Avondale Felicity is by the grey purebred stallion Twinmills Ritz who was owned by my parents. And the multi champion performance stallion, Akhu, is her great grandsire.
